The Broker, John Grisham

(*** out of 5) Best Grisham in awhile, for my taste. Had a little intrigue, spy type stuff, like a Clancy novel.

Pacing was good, and I even felt I was learning Italian along with Joel Blackman, the main character. As with other Grishams that I've read, a well paced and plotted book, but sometimes he relies on telling you character's motivations, rather than showing you in the narrative. Some character's are tranparently two-dimensional.

All the Grisham traits or faults are here - Lawyers, Power, even Sex, though much less of it, and in a very interesting way.

Yeas, I like it. And I can't remember the last Grisham I really liked. It will make a great movie.
